Jennifer (Slivka) Furst
PT, DPT, OCS, AIB-VR/CON
Jennifer (Slivka) Furst, PT, DPT, OCS, AIB-VR/CON graduated from Neshaminy High School in 2011. She then received her bachelor’s from Penn State University in 2015 and Doctorate from Drexel University in 2018. She has been practicing Physical Therapy in Newtown for 3 years. Jennifer received her Certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Concussion Management in 2019 and her Orthopedic Clinical Specialization in 2021. Jennifer has also been working part-time in Pediatrics since graduation, now primarily in early intervention services. While she loves treating all orthopedic injuries, Jennifer is especially passionate about treating knee injuries, particularly ACL Reconstruction. She also enjoys working with dizziness, gait and balance impairments. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, husband, and their lab puppy Bailee. Jennifer and her husband spend a lot of time exercising and being outdoors, as well as cooking elaborate meals on the weekends.
Melissa graduated from Temple University’s accelerated 3+3 program with both her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and her clinical doctorate in physical therapy. Since then she has acquired experience in almost all settings of physical therapy, mostly working with orthopedic and neurological cases within those settings. She is local to Bucks County, PA and attended school in the Council Rock School District. Her strong interest in orthopedic physical therapy stems from her time spent as a competitive swimmer. Melissa loves to run and spends each morning jogging to start her day. Her other interests include spending time with her family and friends.
