Physical Therapy in West Orange, NJ
JAG-ONE Physical Therapy West Orange: Essex County’s Source for Blood Flow Restriction, Vestibular Therapy, and More
Conveniently located on Eagle Rock Avenue (Route 611), JAG-ONE PT West Orange is a physical therapy clinic offering the Essex County region compassionate, skilled care in a variety of therapeutic specialties.
All of our PT staff have extensive experience in a variety of therapeutic areas, and will work with you to combine modalities in order to provide the best, customized care for your health and lifestyle.
Although we offer specialty treatments of all kinds to any suitable patient, here are some of our favorites:
Hand Therapy (CHT)
Using our hands is so natural that we can forget how complex they are anatomically. If you’re recovering from an injury or surgery, relearning hand tasks can be a slow, painful ordeal. Our physical and occupational therapists are trained in joint protection strategies, pain management, custom orthotic education, and other techniques that can help you get full use of your hands back faster and more easily. Learn more about CHT.
Blood Flow Restriction Therapy
Athletes who perform at the highest level trust blood flow restriction therapy to help them train and recover. Our advanced blood flow restriction techniques can help you rehabilitate muscle injuries or simply build strength, under the watchful eye of our highly skilled therapists.
Graston Technique
For conditions that involve scarring or adhesions in soft tissue, the Graston technique can bring major improvements. This mode of therapy uses specialized tools to help the body break scar tissue down and increase blood flow to the affected areas. Our clinical director and other therapists are trained in this technique and work with you to apply it best.
Occupational Therapy Splinting
Our occupational therapists use splints – rigid or semi-rigid supports – as a valuable tool to help people rehabilitate orthopedic conditions affecting their extremities in the fastest, most comfortable, and most effective way possible. At JAG-ONE PT, we fit our patients with custom splints made to their measurements to fit perfectly, as opposed to generic off-the-rack splints which often have an inexact, uncomfortable fit. We utilize custom splinting particularly for conditions of the hands and wrists, partially immobilizing and strengthening joints as necessary to aid patients in healing from and living with carpal tunnel syndrome, muscle spasms, tenosynovitis, and more.
