Debra Cooke
MPT, MBA
Debra received her undergraduate degree in Business Marketing and Management from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. She continued her education, receiving her Master’s in Business Administration from Duquesne University and her Master’s in Physical Therapy from Chatham University, both in Pittsburgh, PA. Debra’s research with colleagues, “Assessing the Validity of Borg’s Rate of Perceived Exertion Scale in Individuals with Spinal Cord Injuries”, was published in the Neurology Report, as well as a poster presentation at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting. She is certified by the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and is educated in golf swing biomechanics, fitness, and health. Early on in her career, Debra worked for Sentara Healthcare in Virginia, the Duke University Medical Center in North Carolina, HealthSouth & Crest Physical Therapy in New Jersey . Debra has worked with patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics presenting with various orthopedic and neurological dysfunctions. Debra received her certification in Vestibular Therapy.
