Jennifer Krekel, PT, DPT, EdD, OCS, graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitative Science in 2003 and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2004. She then earned her first Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern in 2008 and her second Doctorate in Education from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2016. Jennifer is a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) who has over 18 years of experience treating a variety of patients in the outpatient care setting. She has extensive experience treating pre/post-operative orthopedic conditions and patients with neurological impairments. Jennifer also enjoys treating patients who have had sports injuries or other musculoskeletal injuries. Jennifer has recently ventured into the field of Women’s Health and has been treating patients with pelvic disorders since her completion of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy Course 1 through the American Physical Therapy Association in June 2021. She is currently pursuing her Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Health through the Academy of American Physical Therapy. Jennifer has been an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association for over 12 years and enjoys being involved with community events in her local district.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys leading an active lifestyle, which includes running, swimming, and hiking. Jennifer also loves spending time outdoors with her husband, two children and her dog.
