Physical and occupational therapies in general are highly effective means of treating injuries and preventing future ones, and our approach uses a unique combination of specialized methods that helps your bodily systems support each other. We have treatments for every major part of your musculoskeletal system, including:

Back Injuries

Your whole body is centered on your back, and JAG PT has the tools and knowledge to keep it functioning properly so you can keep doing the things you love. We treat chronic spinal conditions such as scoliosis and other spine deformities and degenerative disc disease with effective methods to correct posture and relieve pressure. We also provide care for injuries including spine trauma, vertebral fractures, and disc herniation, where early and proper intervention is needed to prevent serious consequences.

Elbow Injuries

Whether or not you’re an athlete or lead an active lifestyle, an elbow injury can be debilitating until it heals. Even regular repetitive motion can cause wear and tear to build up in your elbow muscles, causing epicondylitis, commonly referred to as tennis elbow. Our exercise, medical massage, and orthopedics programs can help you rehabilitate this condition as well as potentially even more serious ones – dislocations, biceps tendon ruptures, fractures, and valgus extension overloads.

Hand and Wrist Injuries

Your hands are your means of interacting with your world, and the muscles and bones of the hand are anatomically complex, sensitive, and sometimes fragile. JAG PT’s physical and occupational therapists apply all their skill to this complicated-to-treat area, handling conditions including arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, and injuries including fractures.

Hip Injuries

JAG PT’s approach to hip injuries considers them in the context of all the other parts of the anatomy that rely on the hips for their functioning – legs, feet, and even spine. We use a range of innovative methods to take the pain out of bursitis, hip replacement rehab, and groin strain.

Foot and Ankle Injuries

JAG PT strives to get you back on your feet and keep you there when you suffer from a foot or ankle condition. The feet and ankles can be subject to injury due to accident, abnormal gait, overtraining, or simple wear and tear, and we combine heat, icing, exercise, stretching, and more to effectively combat ankle strains and sprains, tendinitis, plantar fasciitis, and ankle laxity. We also treat moderate to severe injuries that may be related to athletics, such as stress fractures, simple and compound traumatic fractures, and shin splints, as well as advising on orthotics and routine changes to treat heel spurs.

Knee Injuries

Knee conditions can have serious consequences for our lower extremities in general. JAG PT recognizes this and is fully equipped to diagnose and treat injuries such as torn meniscus and damage to the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) which often plague athletes. We also offer strengthening and flexibility treatments for the complex patella-femoral syndrome.

Neck Injuries

The neck is an all-important section of both the skeleton and the nervous system. We treat neck injuries and other conditions to prevent them from becoming dangerous, including relieving the pain associated with herniated cervical discs and being there with you every step of the way as you rehabilitate a concussion.

Shoulder Injuries

We often call upon our shoulders to bear a lot of weight, and they can be subject to very painful and difficult musculoskeletal conditions, so our diagnostic and treatment process makes sure to use the right methods. We help rehabilitate rotator cuff tears, work with you to recover after surgery for shoulder impingement syndrome, and use the Graston technique among other proprietary methods to treat the chronic, idiopathic shoulder condition called adhesive capsulitis (also known as frozen shoulder).

Pelvic Floor

The pelvic region supports not only the lower spine, hips, and legs, but also interacts with the digestive and reproductive systems, among other important regions of the body. This makes pelvic floor physical therapy a major form of treatment for both men's and women's health. JAG PT's pelvic floor specialists use advanced, minimally-invasive techniques to relieve sexual dysfunction, treat bladder conditions such as interstitial cystitis, overactive bladder, and other conditions that can cause urinary incontinence, and much more. Our pelvic floor therapy program can also help expectant mothers stay healthy and active during pregnancy and in the postpartum period.
