John Gallucci Jr. of JAG Physical Therapy Honored by the University and Officially Unveiled the Gallucci Physical Therapy Research Laboratory
Bridgewater, N.J. (March 6, 2023): JAG Physical Therapy is one of the fastest growing comprehensive physical and occupational therapy practices providing rehabilitative care to patients and sports teams in over 110 locations across the Northeast. CEO of JAG Physical Therapy, John Gallucci Jr., was honored at his alma mater, Dominican University New York, where he was inducted into the University’s Hall of Achievement along fellow inductees Leigh Weiss & Emily Gerbehy.
The Alumni Hall of Achievement was inaugurated in 2007 in order to recognize the commitment and dedication to the school and community. Those inducted have addressed issues that have had a critical impact on Dominican University’s future and their students.
Dominican University also unveiled the opening of the Gallucci Physical Therapy Research Laboratory, which is dedicated under John Gallucci’s name. Gallucci committed to donating a scholarship to the school for the next three years, as well as a personal contribution to go towards research and innovation within the Physical Therapy lab. Gallucci and Dominican University both look forward to supporting the students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.

My hope is that these contributions inspire the next generation of physical therapists to provide dedicated and compassionate care to their communities.”
Recognized by ROI-NJ as one of the top 20 influencers in healthcare, Gallucci has received numerous additional honors, including the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Regional Award Winner and the American Physical Therapy Association of New Jersey Distinguished Professional of the Year for his work. An expert in sports medicine, rehabilitation, and injury prevention, Gallucci serves as the Medical Coordinator for Major League Soccer (MLS), coordinating the medical care of more than 1,000 professional soccer players. He is also a Sports Medicine consultant for professional athletes in the NHL, NFL, NBA, and MLB. A noted author, Gallucci released his first book titled Soccer Injury Prevention and Treatment in May 2014. His second book, titled Play Ball: Don’t Let Injuries Sideline You This Season was released on May 1, 2018.
